Saving costs and accelerating development, consistently integrating digitalisation into the entire development process is the only way to bring competitive technologies to market maturity. Right from the outset, the digital twin shows whether the intended components will interact in an ideal way, whether there is a need for optimisation and what must be taken into account in future production.
Companies and research institutions with expertise in the field of simulation and digital twins:
Active vibration damping reduces undesirable vehicle vibrations, while at the same time enhancing ride comfort and the audio quality of the entertainment system. The tools for this are analysis and simulation, the demand-driven design of controls, actuators and power electronics, and the production and commissioning of a prototype active damping system.
In the Upper Austria pilot project, a Mobility-as-a-Service app was developed in the scope of the DOMINO (hub for intermodal mobility services and technologies) lead project in order to enable intermodal travel. The key function is a collective ride-sharing platform designed to optimise daily commuter traffic, improve the occupancy rate of vehicles, promote the switch to public transportation and reduce congestion (CO₂ emissions) in the Linz metropolitan area.
